Policies & other important info

Some of these are shop policies and some are my own, but they're all here in one place for clarity! All the info you need before your appointment is in here, so please read thoroughly :)

My hourly rate/minimum is $150/hr

non refundable Deposit: $50 (goes toward final tattoo cost)

Your deposit protects my time, serves as a drawing fee, and an appointment holder. The deposit gets taken off the final cost of the tattoo.

Ways your deposit could be void:

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late or do not show up

  • Rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment time

  • Showing up to your appointment without following our summer policies

  • No call no show will result in being charged for the full price of the appointment.

I usually quote more time than I need, to allow time for placement, design changes, and breaks. You will only be charged for tattoo time and design change time. I will never charge you more than I quoted unless stated otherwise in your quote email.

We accept cash, card, and apple pay, but do note that card transactions have a 5% processing fee.

rate & booking
before appointment

Please be sure you are freshly showered, and do not apply any lotions, creams, oils or perfumes to the tattoo area.

No alcohol for 24 hours before your appt.

Please notify me that you need to reschedule if you have any of the following approaching your appointment time:

  • Cuts, scrapes, scratches, scabs or bruising

  • pimples, blemishes, razor burn

  • bug bites, sunburn, fake tanner

  • Scars under 2 years old

If you have any medical conditions like diabetes, epilepsy or anything that a tattoo could potentially affect or worsen please retrieve a doctor's note before your appt.

If you plan on bringing a guest please be mindful that our studio is very small, and we may ask that your guest waits elsewhere, like at a local coffee shop. An overwhelming environment can be distracting and obstructing to our artists.

Wear  comfy loose clothes you do not mind potentially getting ink on. I love all your cute outfits but I’m terrified of ruining them!!

If you have long hair please bring something to move it away from the tattoo area if necessary.

Chest/ribcage:

We provide pasties if needed. Wear a swimsuit top that can tie/untie, button up shirts that can be left open and/or a top that can openly expose the tattoo area comfortably for you that won’t obstruct or irritate the area. Privacy room divider can be provided upon request!

Be prepared to not wear any bras or tight clothing that will rub or irritate the tattoo while healing.

Back:

Wear a button up shirt or zip up hoodie that can be flipped to expose your back. Sometimes people wear halter tops for upper back pieces which works perfectly :) Be prepared to not wear any bras or tight clothing that will rub or irritate the tattoo while healing.

Upper leg/hips:

loose clothing that can be rolled or moved to expose the area. Hip pieces may need more exposure, so wearing a swimsuit bottom that can tie and untie is best.

what to wear guide

I cannot tattoo you if you have any of the following:

Sunburns

Cuts or scrapes (in tattoo area)

Self tanner

If I were to tattoo you under any of these conditions you would  not only be at high risk of infection, but also it would hurt… a lot. I am more than happy to reschedule you if necessary, and would appreciate very much to be notified as early as possible. If you show up to your appointment with any of these conditions, you will be turned away and asked to leave a new deposit to rebook.

If you are planning any vacations, beach or pool trips, or sports or other sweaty activities, please consider scheduling accordingly with any of these!

While you are healing a fresh tat it is best practice to stay out of lakes, rivers, oceans, pools etc. Submerging in water puts you at risk of infection, as well as poor healing of your tattoo. The same applies to sweat in your tattoo. If you do happen to sweat while healing your tattoo please give it a wash with antibacterial soap as soon as possible.
